Shelley HamlinLPGA Professional

Shelley has been a member of the LPGA Tour since her rookie year in 1972. She has won three LPGA tournaments in her career and has earned numerous awards of achievement. Shelley was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 1991. In 1992 she won the Phar-Mor at Inverrary, Scotland. It was her first win since 1978; amazingly, that victory came only seven months following a modified radical mastectomy.

Shelley's accolades include the 1992 Bounceback Player of the Year Award, the William and Mousie Powell Award and the 1995 Heather Farr Award. Shelley also was the first recipient of the Dr. DeDe Owens Spirit of Golf Award presented to her at the "Celebrating Women in Golf", an LPGA 50th Anniversary Event Dinner.
